Some vehicles, such as pickup trucks, have curved bumpers. If the curve is more than 10 degrees, the flush-mount sensors will point downward and may detect the ground. It is recommended that rubber sensor adapters are used when the sensors are installed to solve this issue.

A NOTE ABOUT IDEAL SENSOR HEIGHT: For best performance mount sensors NO LOWER THAN 18 inches. from the ground and NO HIGHER THAN 30 inches. The best height to mount sensors is exactly verticle at 24 in.
