This is a demo of an installation on a 2004 Honda Pilot.

Please note that all vehicles have variations. This demonstration is to illustrate the general steps of installation. Some vehicles may not need to have the bumper removed to install the sensors. If you can see behind the bumper and find the Grommet holes to route the sensor wires to the inside of the vehicle, removing the bumper could be unnecessary. Use your discretion. A 7/8 inch (22mm) hole saw drill bit should be used to drill into the bumper. If drilling into a metal bumper is required, use a hole saw designed for drilling into steel. It is recommended that all four sensors are installed to achieve the full range of detection and to avoid sensing gaps between the sensors. Sensors should be about two feet apart.

Test the backup system by connecting the processor box to the vehicle's reverse light wires before drilling into the bumper.
